✧ Before, during and after your appointment

BEFORE

​​Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in and make the most of your session.

Arriving early also ensures that your treatment begins at the scheduled time, so no precious minutes are lost from your session.

​

For new clients, we’ll begin with a 15-minute consultation. This time is set aside to complete any necessary health intake forms and discuss any medical or personal details you’d like me to be aware of, ensuring your treatment is tailored to your needs.

Avoid heavy meals, caffeine, and alcohol beforehand to prevent discomfort and stay hydrated for the best experience.​​

DURING

Your comfort is my priority. Disrobe to your comfort level and let me know if there are any areas you’d like to avoid.

​

For 60 or 90-minute massages, We’ll start with you lying face-up, covered with towels, and progress from your legs to your neck. Then once we’ve completed the front of your body, I’ll gently guide you to turn over so we can continue with the back of your body.

AFTER

I’ll step out to give you time to dress. It’s normal to feel relaxed or a little drowsy. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins. Enjoy a light snack and rest, and if possible, take a warm bath with Epsom salts to soothe any tension.

At Mindful Alchemy, I believe in the power of holistic healing, where the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and treated as a whole.

My approach is more eclectic, drawing from various techniques like Lomi Lomi, shiatsu, Swedish massage, acupressure points, lymph drainage, energy healing, and sound healing. This allows me to work with more than just one system of the body, helping you find balance and harmony in both body and mind.

Holistic massage is a personalised journey, addressing you as a whole person. The techniques I use not only support physical well-being by improving circulation, eliminating toxins, and promoting lymph drainage but also offer a space for deep mental relaxation. By incorporating acupressure and other energy-based methods, I aim to release physical tension while creating a sanctuary for the mind.

I recognise that genuine well-being is achieved by attending to both the physical & emotional dimensions of your being.
